Let me explain to you about history related to web browsers Tim Berners-Lee Aka TimBL developed the First Web Browser in 1990. Initially, it was called WorldWideWeb and later was renamed Nexus. In 1993, Marc Andreessen has created a Web Browser with a (GUI)graphical user interface called Mosaic later it is known as Netscape, was the world’s first popular browser with a (GUI)graphical user interface.

It also provides an option to its user to browse privately called Incognito Mode.

2.Internet Explorer

 Internet Explorer (IE) is a World Wide Web browser and is a part of the Microsoft Windows operating system. Microsoft launched Internet Explorer on August 16, 1995, as of version 1.0 and it came with Microsoft Windows(operating system) 95. The latest version of Internet Explorer(IE), included with Windows 8, was Internet Explorer 11.

3.Mozilla Firefox

 Mozilla Corporation is an American software company that creates a free open-source Web browser called Firefox, in full Mozilla Firefox. Mozilla, later on, expands Firefox’s market globally by adding support for 31 languages. The Mozilla Firefox was created in 1998.

4.Opera Web Browser

 Opera browser was developed by Two engineers at Telenor (the Norwegian phone company) in 1994 for the company’s intranet. By the end of 1995 Opera Software was created after Telenor allowed the pair to continue the development of the browser on their own.

5.Safari Web Browser

Apple released the Safari web browser first time in 2003 and it provides its facility to Windows from 2007 to 2012. In macOS, iPhone, and iPad it is the default web browser. With the iPhone and the iPad popularity of this browser increased rapidly.

6.Slimjet Browser

 Slimjet browser isn’t able to send usage data to google as chrome sends to google. It uses the most advanced anti-tracking technology to prevent users’ data and it is good for users’ data privacy point of view. In the list of best desktop web browsers, Google Chrome is ranked 26th while Slimjet is ranked 44th according to the data given by the Slant community.

A Chinese company located in Beijing named Maxthon Ltd developed Maxthon, a free web browser. In Maxthon5 If you turn on the Incognito mode then you can able to browse the mobile web without any fear of tracing. It is available for macOS, iOS, Windows Phone 8, Linux, Maxthon Mobile for Android, and Windows. In version 3 of Maxthon, you can able to access WebKit and Trident web browser engines.

It is an excellent multiple tab Browser so far I have come across. Easy to use with powerful features. The site group feature helps for research purposes.

9.Netscape Browser

 Netscape Browser first introduced as Mosaic Netscape 0.9 on October 13, 1994, Netscape gained popularity during the early 1990s. Netscape browser is not used at this time but old versions are still downloaded by the users. You can use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome when looking for an alternative browser to Netscape

10.Uc Browser

UC Browser launched first time in April 2004 as a J2ME-only application. UC Browser logo was redesigned in December 2012 by his team. In May 2013 UCWeb customized its browser by doing improvement for the Indian customers of Vodafone.
